Brownie Base:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¾ cup (95g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Heavenly Hash Topping:
- 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder) in one bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and eggs.
- Stir in the dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips and marshmallows.
- Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a chewy texture, avoid overbaking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
