Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 oz Juicy steak (ribeye or sirloin) Choose your preferred cut.
  • 1 lb Baby potatoes or diced Yukon Gold potatoes Cut into uniform pieces.
Flavor and Seasonings
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic Minced.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary or thyme Chopped.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste.
Cooking Fats
  • 4 tbsp Butter Can substitute with olive oil for a lighter version.
Optional Additions
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables (bell peppers, onions, or zucchini) Optional for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients and preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs.
  3. Wash and slice the potatoes into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  4. Prepare large squares of aluminum foil to wrap around your ingredients.
Assembly
  1. Layer the potatoes in the center of each foil square, then add the seasoned steak on top.
  2. Dot the steak and potatoes with pats of butter and fresh minced garlic.
  3. Add extra vegetables if using, followed by a sprinkle of additional herbs.
  4. Fold the foil over the ingredients, sealing the packs tightly.
Cooking
  1. Cook on the grill for about 20–30 minutes, checking for doneness periodically.
  2. Let the packs rest for a few minutes before unwrapping and serving.

Notes

For best results, check on your packs a few minutes before the suggested cooking time. Avoid overcooking the steak by using a meat thermometer.
