Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Tender sirloin steak or filet mignon Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium Zucchini Spiralized or julienned
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 whole Lemon Juice only
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For garlic butter sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Or light vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
Optional Substitutions
  • 1 pound Shrimp or chicken Can be used instead of beef
  • 2 medium Carrots Spiralized for a colorful alternative to zucchini

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the steak into bite-sized pieces, ensuring uniformity for even cooking.
  2. Spiralize or julienne the zucchini to create beautiful noodles.
  3. Pat everything dry and season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a hot skillet, heat the olive oil and sear the steak bites until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  2. Remove the cooked steak from the pan and let it rest.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until aromatic and golden.
  4. Squeeze in the lemon juice, then add the zucchini noodles. Sauté until tender but still crunchy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return the steak to the pan, tossing everything to coat in the garlicky sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use high heat for the steak for a beautiful sear without overcooking. Avoid overcooking the zucchini noodles to maintain their crunch.
